Fourth Part of the Day
Issue 58
Gervais reported back so yep, summer is over. We will still fit in as many pool days as possible, but school is in view. Our four parts are getting ready for school, enjoying ice cream and swimming.

First Part
We are starting to think about school-day breakfasts and this summer my girls began to enjoy English muffins. We add avocado or bacon or scrambled eggs and what a protein fueled way to start your day. We also like the mini bagels. Pour some chocolate milk and throw out some fruit and now you have a complete breakfast that doesn’t feel like too much but really gets the girls started on the right foot. (And, yes, we do have days with good ol’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Reese’s Puffs — it’s called balance, people.)
Second Part
I’m now a tennis skirt wearer even though I am not a current tennis player — that’s to come soon. This green skirt from Amazon is not full of pleats, isn’t too full and the length is just right. There are quite a few colors from which to choose.
Third Part
Last summer, we made ice cream. I’ve a handful of days before school starts so I think I’m going to get some ice cream made. One, a sea salt caramel chocolate chip, is with cottage cheese — OK it’s not real ice cream but when we saw it on The Kitchen show, it looked good. The second, named Lazy Ice Cream, is from a favorite blogger, website creator Cup of Jo and seems easy to whip up.
Fourth Part
Last week, I spent time with the most amazing, humble woman, Lisa Bownds. She founded and is the CEO of Reflection Ministries. She and her team provide avenues of restoration for survivors who have been coerced into human trafficking. The horrific stories are countless and Lisa counters those with a rehabilitative space for these individuals. The industry of trafficking is massive and the infrastructure is terribly deep. Please consider making a donation and purchasing one of the Hello Love shirts to support Lisa’s ministry.
