Fourth Part of the Day
Issue 53
Summer is really here. Like the official day happened and it’s boiling hot with a big side of humidity. Now is the time to think about the clothes you wear when out and about in this weather. I can only wear denim cutoffs so many times. But when we don’t have to be at an event, reading, working on puzzles and swimming are good ways to spend a fourth part.
First Part
Summer in South Texas brings hill Country peaches. Whenever we see a peach stand, we pull over and grab a bushel. The batch we picked up this past weekend met all our peach dreams. We have two left so I’ll be looking for more in the next few days. We’ve not ordered from The Peach Truck but that looks to be a great option.
Second Part
I ordered two pair of pants from Gap Factory after being influenced from an Instagram account I follow. I’ve wanted some summer-weight colored pants to wear when I’m needing to have an outfit — read: not workout clothes. I hope they work out. Plus, they were both on big sale. The pink pair are more jeans like and the mint pair seem to be more casual but still good for grabbing lunch with a friend.
Third Part
Pop Chips are now a family favorite. We buy ours from Thrive Market. I prefer the sea salt. Caroline likes the BBQ.
Fourth Part
DCC. Season two. Charly. Madie K. Chandi. Jada. Reece. So good, so binge-worthy. And inspired me once again to try and learn the Thunderstruck routine in its entirety.
