Fourth Part of the Day

Issue 68

Amazon Prime Days came and went and I focused on what I needed — light fixtures — and only bought one item from being influenced. Don’t worry, I’ll make up in the shopping area when I visit Round Top this weekend.

First Part

We continue to try and find new protein bars and the latest is the oatmeal chocolate chip kids Macrobar. It’s not the most favorite but it is now in the breakfast, protein bar rotation.

Second Part

Why can’t I find a lip gloss to use during the day? Not a lip balm — I have that nailed with my perfect brand from the Monoprix in France. Yes, that is over the top but hey it’s what works. I have tried the Elf glosses with the good applicator. I tried a squeeze tube from another brand. I just need a lip gloss to grab before going on camera for a call when I work from home. Or one to pop on top of lipstick during the work day. I heard an out this brand on a podcast so maybe I will give it a try but $20-something dollars for gloss. Come on. If it works is it worth it?

Third Part

In rearranging and selling furniture, I rediscovered some of my pewter trivets and a couple that I inherited from my grandmother. I’m donating the pewter ones because I never use them. I’m cleaning up the ones from my grandmother and looking for a larger vintage wooden trivet at Round Top. I saw these on Etsy and this is what I’m wanting.

Fourth Part

The fun item I purchased is from the brand Medicube. Every influencer I follow or came across during the two Prime days this week recommended Medicube. The skincare line works miracles according to all. I bought the Collagen Overnight Wrapping mask. I cannot wait to receive so that the morning after using I will have the most youthful, freshest glow.
